Alabama Power Company hosted a show to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the events which led to the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the beginning of the end of segregation.

This diptych uses found photographs of women in Birmingham to create a narrative of our common experiences as mothers, daughters, sisters and friends. The title is Learning to Remember and it is a part of Alabama Power's permanent collection.
